The Getaway Monday for this week brings us to Cabrillo National Monument at the end of Point Loma in San Diego. The old lighthouse (as pictured) sits on top of the park, however there is plenty of more to do from whale watching in the winter, checking out the tide pools on the west side of the park or checking out the skyline of San Diego. Due to the location of the park it closes at 5:00 PM, which means the nice light you will find for photography is limited to a few months of the year.
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story in their own way.
The enjoyment of communicating stories through images has been with me since I was young, and it has grown over the years. Working as a software implementation consultant and now photographer my business and artistic knowledge allows me to look at projects from a a center point. This balance lets me refine my photographic vision and tell the necessary story which will make your next project exciting and successful.
