It snowed on Christmas Eve in Denver this year leaving the city with a couple of inches of fresh snow when waking up on Christmas morning. I headed out with my camera on Christmas Eve to capture some of the holiday lights with snow, as it doesn’t happen to often when there is snow this time of year in the Denver area. Making my way home I stopped at the City and County of Denver Building which is known for the holiday lights it puts up each year from just after Thanksgiving until mid-January. Having photographed this location in the past I am always looking for new perspectives to go with some of the classic images of this scene. With a light wind blowing the flag I turned my attention to the flag and the center of the building as the snow continued to fall in Denver.
