The final Getaway Monday image for this year takes us to Boise, Idaho where I was last month. During the week I headed to Ann Morrison Park not too far from downtown Boise. Frost was on the grass and a little sheet of ice was also on some of the ponds in the park. Just after entering the park from the west there is a nicely manicured lawn which caught my eye with the frost still on the grass. Walking down the path, I noticed the lines of the trees with the walk for the image taken. This was the image used on Day 28 of Thirty Days 2012. From now until January 12th you may vote for your three favorite images from the series.
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story in their own way.
The enjoyment of communicating stories through images has been with me since I was young, and it has grown over the years. Working as a software implementation consultant and now photographer my business and artistic knowledge allows me to look at projects from a a center point. This balance lets me refine my photographic vision and tell the necessary story which will make your next project exciting and successful.
