Last year the USA Pro Cycling Challenge wrapped up with a time trial in the streets of Denver for the final stage. For seven days over 100 riders made their way from Durango to Denver, while climbing some of the highest passes in Colorado along the way. The overall winner of the race was Christian Vande Velde who went into the time trial in second place. This image of him was taken along Speer Blvd. just after he passed the 10km to go sign along the course.
This Sunday the race returns to the streets of Denver after six days in the mountains and front range of Colorado. Instead of a time trial in Denver this year, it will be an eight lap circuit race which will be sure to bring the crowds out to watch. See you there!
