As the days get shorter the amount of time available to capture an image in daylight gets more challenging. This evening I was heading out around Lakeside Amusement Park and thought I would stop by to see if I could find an image. Right after parking the car and walking towards the park I noticed this scene. The challenge was finding the right position which didn’t put me right in the middle of a road near the park. After checking out the location options along the road I did find a safe location to capture this image for Day 22 of Thirty Days 2013.
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story in their own way.
The enjoyment of communicating stories through images has been with me since I was young, and it has grown over the years. Working as a software implementation consultant and now photographer my business and artistic knowledge allows me to look at projects from a a center point. This balance lets me refine my photographic vision and tell the necessary story which will make your next project exciting and successful.
