The full moon is once again approaching and in the evening it is bright enough to experiment with some night photography. For Day 12 of Thirty Days 2013 I headed to Golden, Colorado and photographed Lookout Mountain. If you have ever driven the road you know there are many twists and turns along the way. From a distance back I set-up my tripod and worked to capture the cars along the road just after sunset while letting the bright moon illuminate the mountain itself. The full moon occurs this weekend so if the weather conditions remain clear the next few days I may try more of the evening images as part of Thirty Days.
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story in their own way.
The enjoyment of communicating stories through images has been with me since I was young, and it has grown over the years. Working as a software implementation consultant and now photographer my business and artistic knowledge allows me to look at projects from a a center point. This balance lets me refine my photographic vision and tell the necessary story which will make your next project exciting and successful.
