The Getaway Monday image this week takes us to Salt Lake City. During a road trip from Sacramento to Denver with a friend from college I had the opportunity to explore Salt Lake City as he worked at a client site. On this day in October 2009 some early snow fell in the city which was interesting as the snow line was quite obvious throughout the city especially on the lawn of the capitol building. As I walked up the steps to the State of Utah Capitol Building I noticed the leading line to the sizable building as the clouds started to part to allow some blue sky to appear as the storm rolled out of town.
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story in their own way.
The enjoyment of communicating stories through images has been with me since I was young, and it has grown over the years. Working as a software implementation consultant and now photographer my business and artistic knowledge allows me to look at projects from a a center point. This balance lets me refine my photographic vision and tell the necessary story which will make your next project exciting and successful.
