Once again I have a limited edition print available through an auction. This time the proceeds benefit Heide Medina who is battling a new round of cancer. Heide previously beat breast cancer, but it has returned and spread to other parts of her body. As medical bills can be quite expensive and insurance limiting all of the proceeds from the auction will help defer the cost for treatment she is currently receiving. Take a look at some of the items available, and this is an opportunity to win a matted print which is ready to frame.
Due to the holiday this past weekend in the United States there was no Hike for Discovery group hike to report. However, I am pleased to announce Neil Corman Photography will be donating 10% of all sales from now until the end of August to the Hike for Discovery program as part of my fundraising goal.
If you have thought about purchasing an image, now is the time to do so. This also includes all portrait or commercial sessions through the end of August as well.
Please keep in mind you will not be able to take any of this as a tax deduction, but you will know that part of the purchase price is going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society . If you would like to give a tax deductible contribution to support my fund raising for Hike for Discovery this may be done at the Neil Corman Hike for Discovery page . You may also contact me by e-mail or phone to discuss offline donations.
Thank you for support and helping out the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

As you may have noticed the URL you are now visiting is that of neilcormanimages.com, and if you have been redirected please make a note of this new link. During the transition to the new domain, there were a few issues with the blog which I am resolving, and it may be possible some of the comments you have posted will be lost. I am working on rectifying this and hope it is not the case.
In the next couple of days the rest of the site will be opened as well and I look forward to your feedback on this new site.
In the next couple of days I will be switching this blog to a new URL as I prepare for the rollout for the website, which will be the first of two. If you have this website bookmarked you will want to checkout neilcormanimages.com once the change is made. I will redirect the traffic from neilcorman.com to this new URL so you will be able to still access this site until the second site is released.
You may be wondering why these changes will be taking place. When I attended SB2 in April, a business of photography conference, and talked websites with people who have been in the business for a while as both photographers and marketing consultants it made sense to separate the two sites. This blog will join a gallery of images available for viewing and allow retail customers to take a look at my images. The other site will focus on a commercial and editorial market allowing the site to be catered to the format which works best for those viewers.
I am hoping the transition to the new site will go well, and it should be viewable in the next couple of days. Hopefully you will like the site, and I look forward to hearing your feedback.
Some of the first images I will post will be those taken during the past few days while I was in Las Vegas as well as the Colfax Marathon which was run this morning.
Just wanted to give a quick update on the status of the new website. At this time testing is taking place on some of the components and I am looking at it being live next week. Please check on back to see the latest updates, or sign-up for the mailing list to receive a notice in your inbox upon the roll-out.
I also wanted to provide an image of some recent work. The following image was taken last month while visiting Glacier National Park.
If you are returning you may have noticed a different look to the blog from the last time you stopped by to check out the latest postings. For those of you making their first visit welcome, and I hope to see you visiting regularly.
The blog was due a change from the default style used previously. One, of the things you may have noticed is a wider area where the entries are posted. This additional area allows images to be posted in a larger size than in the previous version of the blog. However the main reason for the change is to integrate the blog into the format of the website which is scheduled to be completed in a few weeks. If you would like to receive notification when the new site is complete, I recommend signing up for the Neil Corman Photography e-mail list. This will provide you with news, updates and exclusive specials directly to your inbox. The information collected is not provided to any external entities and is only used to provide updates regarding Neil Corman Photography. If you would like to register you may do so here.
It has been a while since I have posted some images on the blog. The reason is things have been quite busy the past couple of weeks since returning from Hawaii. The main item taking up time is the creation of a new website which is currently on track with my scheduled release date. I won’t disclose the release date here, as being a software implementation consultant for many years I have found it is better to exceed the expectations customers may have however it will be during this season. I am also catching up on some images to process and should be posting in the next few days, so be sure to check back…
