My Colorado Exhibition

October 20, 2019 By Neil

The My Colorado exhibition is now on display at Denver International Airport. Over 4,000 images were submitted by photographers in Colorado to share their vision of Colorado’s past, present and future. The photograph Top of the Dunes which I took at the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve was one of the 35 images selected. Furthermore, I was notified earlier this month my image was also selected as one of the four images to be included on the poster and other promotional elements of the exhibition.

My Colorado - Denver International Airport

The following images are from the actual location of my work closer to Level 3 of the Y-Juncture Gallery on Concourse A. The prints in this exhibit are all 27″ x 40″ and were printed by Reed Art and Imaging.

Viewing the Exhibition

The exhibit is on the mezzanine level of Concourse A (Y-Juncture Gallery), until March 2020. This is beyond security so you will either need a ticket or be passing through Denver International Airport to view the work.

Access via Bridge Security: Once you have passed through security and crossed the bridge at the fork in the walkway head to the left. My photograph is the last one on this side of the exhibit. From here you can either head to the right and will see signs for the elevators to get you to the train if you are heading to Concourse B or C.

Access via Train: If you are heading to the concourses get off the train at Concourse A and go to the left (it will be the right if you are headed to the terminal). Walk pass the escalators to the elevator and take this to level 4. Once off the elevator you will head towards the bridge but prior to walking across the bridge take a right and this is the location of the exhibit, with my image being the last one on this side. From here you can either head to the right and will see signs for the elevators to get you to the train if you are heading to Concourse B or C. To get from the terminal from here you can either take the elevators to the train or walk up the ramp and over the bridge to the terminal.

To help locate the exhibit I have identified the location in red, with the red dot the location of my piece Top of the Dunes.

Win a Print

As part of the exhibition I am giving away a print of Top of the Dunes. Just be a member of the Neil Corman Photography e-mail list and on Saturday November 30th one name will be selected to receive a print (13.5″ x 20″) of this piece. You can join the e-mail list below.
