Over the course of the pandemic I have gone through images I took on black and white film many years ago. I had a subset of these images scanned and from there I did minor edits and fixing of scratches on the film.
This image is looking along the Chicago River towards the Loop in Chicago. In the distance you can see the top of the Sears Tower (now Willis Tower) through the other buildings in the Loop. Probably the biggest change in this image in along the right side of the frame and the Sun-Times building. For many years the newspaper was printed in this building prior to moving to a shared facility with the Chicago Tribune. The building itself was demolished in 2004.
