Heading south to New Mexico this past summer I took my time and slowly made by way through Southern Colorado. After stopping in Canon City, I proceeded to the Royal Gorge Bridge. While I looked down into the gorge from the bridge, I also made sure to look up at the bridge and photograph the architecture of the bridge itself. On this summer day the clouds were starting to build which provides a dramatic aspect in this scene. Helping to bring this out, I transitioned the picture to black and white letting the bridge contrast against the clouds in the distance,
