Tulips are the initial sign that spring is here in Denver. While every so often they may be mixed with a late snow, that doesn’t diminish the indication the snow season is behind us for the year. Upon coming across this group of tulips the morning light was soft enough to give a nice warmth on the flower. With a somewhat shallow depth of field I put the ones behind the first to give more emphasize on the detail in this flower but yet giving the viewer of the image knowledge of the area and the fact that this was just one of many tulips in this garden.
