Getting close to an object can provide more detail, but can also let the viewer wondering what else is part of the frame. While in the Faroe Islands. I came across this chain and decided to concentrate on one loop. Looking at the chain we know that it is part of something larger, but can only imagine what this larger piece of the scene consists. The hope is more so that the viewer is looking at the details of the chain after some rain moved through the area to see the details making up the larger scene.
About Neil
A picture tells a story. With so many ways to tell a story, a picture not only communicates the vision I see but allows viewers to interpret the story as well.
