While I have lived in Denver for more than half my life, Chicago is still my hometown. During the fall while I was visiting Chicago, I headed to Adler Planetarium one morning to photograph the skyline. It was a crisp morning without a cloud in the sky which let the skyline take in the early morning light from the sun over Lake Michigan. You can really see the growth in the city from this perspective with the modern buildings being added into the skyline as well as how the city is starting to grow to the south. Buildings I remember from my childhood like the Sears Tower (Willis Tower) and Standard Oil (Aon Center) still are noticeable, but others like the John Hancock (875 North Michigan) are starting to be hidden by newer structures.
