While navigating an area of ice which had broken off a glacier in Svalbard I noticed this icicle hanging down from the ice. With the early morning there was a noticeable area of light and shadow on the berg as well as we slowly made our way past in the zodiac. With the days gets shorter it could still be there months later, or a sudden move of the berg could have quickly broken off the icicle quite quickly.
