The roll of the ocean can change quickly. As I spent time on an expedition ship in Svalbard not only did I admire the scenery of Svalbard but also the motion of the ocean. Using a mixture of short and long exposures over twelve days I found an opportunity to photograph both the water as well as the scenery. This is the motion of the water in a little long exposure as the ripples in the water start to show their movement on the waves.
