As we stayed in a location overnight in Svalbard, I spent time on the deck taking in the scenery but also watching the ice in the water around the M/S Stockholm. The wind was calm and in our protected area the water was quite still. Small pieces of ice floated around and past the ship. I started to watch the ice and paid attention to the detail which was visible above the water, it was then you start to notice the larger amount of ice beneath the surface of the water as well.
