I visited this location in the Faroe Islands twice during my most recent visit to the archipelago. The first time it was pouring rain so it was a short stop. On this visit we were treated to more welcoming weather. It was just prior to leaving the location I noticed the sun starting to peek out from a cloud give some soft but strong light at the cross at the top of the gate. With the stained glass being filled in by the light it starts to give another light source. While you may first be directed to the sunlight from there the stained glass brings you into the cemetery itself and the view in the distance.
