As the sun appeared in the Faroe Islands when I was in the village of Tjørnuvík. This small village on the island of Streymoy.is where you can quite frequently find surfers in the cove pictured here. I used neutral density filters to let me get a longer exposure and smooth out the waves which were coming to the beach. In addition this will show motion in the clouds and in this photography softens the hard edges as the clouds moved through the sky.
